The German HAWE ED1 throttle valve can be directly installed on pipelines and belongs to the category of flow control valves. It functions as a hydraulic resistance-type valve in hydraulic systems, operating on the principle of flow regulation according to characteristic curves.

The German HAWE ED1 throttle valve allows for precise adjustment. In essence, it is designed based on the principle of gap throttling. In the final quarter of the adjustment range, i.e., in the large opening area, the flow cross-section of the valve port is additionally enlarged by an annular gap.

The check valve features a lightweight plate-type structure and is not equipped with a spring (eliminating potential failures caused by spring breakage). It can open and close with minimal fluid flow.
