Parker's TEA series electro-hydraulic proportional throttle cartridge valve units with shut-off function combine high flow capacity and fast response, delivering superior performance. This series of accumulator discharge valves is ideal for hydraulic systems requiring the rapid release of large fluid volumes from hydraulic accumulators within extremely short cycle times (in the range of milliseconds).

Typical applications include injection molding machines, die-casting machines, and hydraulic presses. The accumulator discharge functionality of this valve series is fundamentally similar to that of the TDA series electro-hydraulic proportional throttle valves, but it additionally incorporates a solenoid directional valve in the pilot circuit to comply with relevant safety regulations.
