PARKER P31PA92AD2VD1A Programmable Electronic Proportional Regulator allows for the adjustment of outlet pressure based on an electrical control signal. This device features of PARKER an onboard user-friendly LED display for modifying and customizing parameters such as pressure limit adjustment, control signal (0–10V or 4–20mA), output control signal, analog output signal scaling, digital display, pressure unit selection (PSIG, bar, MPa), minimum and/or maximum pressure settings, and behavior control. The unit is available in either normally closed (NC) or forced-exhaust normally open (NO) versions. In the forced-exhaust configuration, the device will automatically vent the regulated pressure to zero upon loss of supply voltage.

An internal pulse-width modulated (PWM) valve controls the output pressure proportionally according to a field-convertible analog input control signal of either 0–10V or 4–20mA.

The device consists of PARKER P31PA92AD2VD1A a conventional servo-operated pneumatic pressure regulator in which the pilot chamber is supplied by one of two bidirectional pulse-width modulated solenoid valves. An internal pressure sensor measures the output pressure of the regulator and provides a feedback signal to the controller. Any discrepancy between the control signal and the feedback signal is converted into a digital signal to activate one of the two bidirectional valves, thereby correcting the position of the regulator.
