HAWE CLK 35-5 is a direct-operated three-way pressure reducing valve, belonging to the category of pressure control components in hydraulic systems. Its core function is to provide a stable secondary pressure independent of fluctuations in the main circuit pressure, commonly used in branch control circuits of hydraulic systems.
HAWE CLK 35-5 pressure reducing valve automatically adjusts through its internal spool to reduce the primary pressure at the inlet (port P) to a set secondary pressure at the outlet (port A). When the secondary pressure drops due to actuator movement, the spool opens to allow pressure oil to replenish; when the secondary pressure reaches the set value, the spool closes to cut off the flow. Excess flow is safely discharged back to the tank through port T, ensuring the outlet pressure remains constant within the preset range. Its set pressure is typically adjusted via a handle or screw.
In industrial applications, HAWE CLK 35-5 pressure reducing valve plays a significant role. For example, in the hydraulic systems of multi-actuator machine tools, the main circuit requires higher pressure to drive the spindle or feed mechanisms, while branch circuits used for clamping, lubrication, or pilot control require lower and more stable pressure. In such cases, the CLK 35-5 pressure reducing valve can provide a constant low pressure for the clamping circuit, ensuring reliable workpiece fixation while preventing deformation or damage due to excessive pressure. In the mold clamping systems of plastic injection molding machines, it is also commonly used to control the pressure during the low-pressure protection phase of the mold, ensuring safety.
