The Parker AC890 can be configured into four different control modes to meet varying process requirements:

Open Loop V/F Control Mode

Ideal for basic speed control of single or multiple motors.

Sensorless Vector Control (Open Loop Vector Control) Mode

Utilizing a powerful high-performance sensorless vector control algorithm, the AC890 achieves full torque output across the entire speed range (below base frequency) and closed-loop speed regulation without requiring any speed feedback device.

Closed Loop Vector Control Mode

By adding an encoder feedback card, the AC890 achieves closed-loop flux vector control performance. It provides continuous full load torque at zero speed and meets the demands of the vast majority of complex applications through its high dynamic response speed loop.

4-Quadrant AFE Control Mode

This control mode enables perfect power regeneration (sinusoidal waveform and unity power factor) with very low current harmonic distortion (THD < 5%).
