The HYDAC HEX S522-30-00/G1 1/2" plate heat exchanger from Germany features 30 cooling plate layers, and the turbulence of the hydraulic medium provides a self-cleaning effect. The HYDAC liquid flows through narrow channels, generating significant shear stress on the tube walls, and this frictional effect helps reduce surface fouling.
The HEX cooler utilizes a counter-flow cooling circuit with water, coolant, HFC working fluid, or oil.
