PARKER 0740051ECD True Ground Speed Sensor from USA is a supporting component designed for electronic control systems. It adopts Doppler‑beam technology to acquire the actual ground travel speed of vehicles and outputs measured data in the form of frequency signals. This product is applicable to vehicles and various equipment scenarios with a stable DC voltage of ≤16 V.

The commercial standard version of PARKER TGSS sensor is equipped with a short cable, with optional AMP Superseal or Deutsch DT‑series connectors. Constructed from ABS plastic, the sensor delivers high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Fitted with a planar antenna, it performs non‑contact and stable speed measurement based on the Doppler effect. During operation, the sensor emits microwave signals which are reflected by the ground and received back. Ground speed is calculated by analysing the frequency shift of return signals. Users can select either the standard microwave carrier frequency or the UK‑specific frequency variant.

PARKER 0740051ECD is mounted on a bracket underneath the vehicle and supports both forward‑facing and reverse‑facing installation. Complying with the stringent SAE J1455/EP455 environmental standards, it features a robust build to withstand harsh operating conditions and ensures consistent and reliable performance in complex environments.
